Location: Hampton Bays, NY
Pay Rate: $21 - $25 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (some Saturdays based on workload and deadlines)
Job Description:
We are seeking a hardworking
Construction Assistant
to support our client's various construction and repair projects, including pools, patios, and residential structures. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to perform physically demanding tasks in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
Assist with site preparation, repair work, and daily clean-up
Perform demolition and prep work using tools such as jackhammers, pickaxes, and shovels
Support masonry, carpentry, plumbing, tilework, and other general labor as needed
Help with yard maintenance, vehicle or building cleanup, and snow removal when required
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
6 months to 1 year of relevant construction experience
Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
Reliable transportation and punctuality
