Performs senior functions relating to coordinating and leading the HVAC Shop for various assignments throughout the facility. Partners with leadership to prioritize work, staffing and ensure that the needs of the Department are met. Coordinates and collaborates with other staff to ensure that departmental outcomes are achieved; has specialized knowledge of an area and is a resource to management and staff.
Job Responsibility
Performs senior functions relating to the HVAC Shop for various assignments throughout the facility.
Leads, guides, and coordinates HVAC mechanics; trains staff; assesses staff’s talent and capabilities.
Assigns work to department personnel and inspects assignments to ensure proper workmanship and quality outcomes and completion of assignment.
Coordinates and collaborates with other staff to assure that departmental outcomes are achieved.
Assists management to stock shop materials.
Maintains a safe working environment.
Performs emergency repairs as needed; communicates these repairs appropriately.
Assures code compliance by using the knowledge base of the trade.

Job Qualification
Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
5-7 years of relevant experience, required.
Additional Salary Detail: The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
Base pay range $59.00/hr - $60.00/hr
