Overview Our warehouse of the future features high‑density, high‑precision racking with automated pallet shuttles (such as our Atlas 1D) that eliminate wide aisles for forklifts. We deliver up to 70% more pallet storage than traditional rack, maximizing vertical space, enhancing selection accuracy, and reducing labor costs and product damage. With over 40 years of experience, we operate ten manufacturing facilities and nineteen commercial offices, serving customers in 40 countries. In early 2021 we opened our first U.S. office in Romeoville, IL, and we are soon launching our first manufacturing plant in the greater Atlanta area.
Job Description
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of tools and dies
Design and build tools and jigs using various machines and tools
Inspect finished tools and dies for accuracy and quality
Repair and maintain existing tools and dies
Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve tool/die and roll forming issues
Ensure that all tools and dies meet safety standards
Maintain accurate records of tool and die maintenance and repairs
Set up and install dies in press machines according to specifications
Set coils on mandrel and feed up and in to die
Adjust and align dies and roll forming cassettes for optimal operation and product quality
Conduct trial runs after die setup to ensure proper functioning and output
Inspect tooling and equipment before and after use to detect defects or wear
Recommend minor repairs and maintenance on dies and related machinery
Work closely with machine operators, maintenance staff, and quality control to support production goals
Troubleshoot die and press problems to minimize downtime
Operate overhead crane
Run the production line as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Tool and Die Maker apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics
Experience using lathes, grinders, and milling machines
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Proven experience as a Die Setter or similar role in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with stamping presses or other die‑based production systems
Ability to read, understand, and complete setup sheets
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Experience operating an overhead crane
Understanding of print reading and geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part
Ability to prepare and run complex bend setups and roll forming operations
