Who You Are
As our Residential HVAC Install Lead, you are confident in your skills and abilities and not afraid to make decisions. You are driven and competitive - but not afraid to admit when you don't know something and need help. Our Residential HVAC Install Lead is primarily responsible for removing, installing, and starting up new HVAC systems, including ductwork and IAQ products. You will work as a 2-person team to ensure timely and accurate service to clients in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Essential Job Functions
Perform the removal, installation, and startup of new residential HVAC systems
Work closely with fellow Installation Technicians to provide clients with excellent service as outlined in department policies and procedures
Maintain a high standard of clean-up before leaving any job site
Be sure that all necessary touch-up work and clean-up is completed before leaving the job site
Working as a team with the crew helper to get the job done professionally, efficiently, and in a safe manner
Request necessary parts and equipment in advance to ensure the installation truck is loaded properly with all materials needed to complete each job
Responsible for the vehicle upkeep, record logs, and driving of vehicle; valid driver's license required
Stay up to date on current technologies and new products in the field
Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing any questions, concerns, or issues the client may have
Pre-measure job sites in order to properly prepare for installation
Properly connect equipment
Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Other duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications
Valid Driver’s License
HVAC Certified/EPA
Journeyman License or able to obtain within 6 months
2+ years of HVAC Install experience
1+ years of leadership experience
Clean driving record
Time management skills
Basic software understanding
Self-motivation
High School diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills
Basic mechanical aptitude
Basic computer skills
The ability to use various hand and power tools common to trade
The ability to learn through observation and hands on experience
The ability to follow routine, verbal, and written instructions
The ability to communicate with team members and customers effectively
Being capable of maintaining professional working relationships with team members
The ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc.
The ability to perform basic mathematical functions

Service Titan experience
Sales experience
HVAC Service experience
Physical Demands & Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. The employee must be comfortable working in tight spaces for an extended period of time in attics and crawl spaces as needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and vibrations. The employee is exposed to outside weather conditions, and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Compensation & Hours
Hourly + Piece Pay
Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
Days: Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
