A leading California education law firm in Sacramento is seeking an experienced
Litigation Legal Secretary
to support multiple attorneys. This role requires a proactive professional who can work independently, anticipate needs, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Base pay range
$38.47/hr - $50.49/hr Key Responsibilities
Prepare, format, and manage legal documents and case files Handle extensive e-filing in administrative, state, and federal courts Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence Coordinate communication with clients, courts, and attorneys Apply knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures Maintain legal calendars using tools such as Juralaw and similar systems Schedule and manage appointments, travel, and reimbursements Prioritize competing deadlines and support efficient case workflow Collaborate with attorneys and staff, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy Qualifications
High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred 3+ years of litigation secretary experience supporting multiple attorneys Strong Microsoft Office skills; experience with timekeeping, iManage (or similar DMS), and Adobe Acrobat Knowledge of administrative hearings or transactional law is a plus Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and independent problem-solving abilities Commitment to Diversity
