The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers) to produce precision parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
Perform quality inspections on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
Monitor machine operations, making adjustments to optimize production and ensure part quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or program errors.
Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Select, install, and adjust cutting tools and workholding devices.
Recommended Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
Demonstrated ability to perform machine setup, tool changes, and G-code/M-code editing.
Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and various material properties.
Bonus Qualifications
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
Experience operating and/or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs)
Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshoot common operational issues
Demonstrated experience with tooling selection and optimization for various materials
