BlueLinx is looking for a Fabrication‑Mill Machinist to assist in our distribution center, working alongside our Material Handlers who safely load trucks and unload railcars. We seek team players who prioritize safety and quality of service, and who understand that every team member is essential.

Responsibilities
Operate rip saw, band saw, scroll saw, and planer and set them up appropriately.
Read tape measures and accurately set dimensions.
Work with wood scrolls and brackets.
Check all outbound orders for accuracy and quality.
Maintain equipment and notify the Mill Manager of needed maintenance or supplies.
Assist in training others on resaw and planer operations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Prior experience in mill operations is required.
