Position Summary The Sales Outfitter performs various selling and customer‑service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing information, assistance, and direction to customers.

Essential Functions

Support a strong commitment to world‑class customer service, ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.

Demonstrate products to customers.

Replenish product on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.

Maintain product expertise through ongoing knowledge training.

Stay knowledgeable of advertised sales, maintain pricing and signing.

Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.

Restock merchandise as required.

Keep work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.

Follow all company policies and procedures.

Provide a legendary experience for every customer by assisting them in making buying decisions: Identify and evaluate customer needs, make product recommendations based on this analysis, and promote programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In‑Store Pick‑up.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum degree required: High school education or equivalent experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.

Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and other associates.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.

Ability to operate a computerized point‑of‑sale register system.

Travel Requirements

None.

Physical Requirements

Constantly stand and/or walk during the shift.

Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.

Constantly communicate with others to exchange information.

Occasionally repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools.

Occasionally operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.

Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly, and may occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more by utilizing a team lift as needed.

Occasionally work in tight and confined spaces.

Occasionally work in noisy environments.

Independent Judgment Performs tasks under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Requires occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
