Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Read and interpret plans, schematics, and drawings and build based off them
Effectively and safely use the right trade tools for the projects assigned
Utilize tools and research required by trade to accomplish quality and timely work assignments
Continuously investigate methods and means to improve the cost effectiveness and quality of work within the trade
Provide guidance to unskilled labor to ensure safety and professional project completion
Analyze projects by working closely with the Foreman in identifying potential issues that may arise prior to quoting and at project take-off
Work closely with other trades where projects require simultaneous and overlapping trade work
Perform all work according to safety standards and promote safety on all job sites
Perform layout
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Knowledgeable with grades and ADA requirements
Ability to bend, crouch and stand for long periods of time
Strong knowledge and experience interpreting drawings/project specifications
Experience at efficiently and safely operating trade tools and equipment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience working effectively in a team environment
Associate in Construction Trade or equivalent trade certification from an accredited program preferred
3+ years of hands‑on trade experience in flatwork
Reliable transportation to be onsite based on project schedule
