Overview

ReconCraft is seeking an Outfitter I to be responsible for assembling and outfitting newly manufactured vessels. Duties include installation of all parts, equipment, components, hardware, and accessories as part of a vessel manufacturing production line. Responsibilities

Assembling/testing of parts using drawings and bills of material Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods including crimping and soldering Using common hand and power tools Familiarity with mechanical assemblies Following documented procedures in fitting, adjusting and ensuring proper function of parts Measurements with calipers, tape measures, various gauges, and other devices Performing minor adjustments to tools and equipment Inspection of assemblies Requirements

Education: High school graduate or GED Required Knowledge/Experience: Valid driver’s license Preferred Knowledge/Experience: Recent experience outfitting and assembling vessels or similar systems; experience in assembly having an aptitude to electrical, mechanical, and fabrication; installing outboard and inboard motors; installing waterjets, stern drives, and other similar propulsion systems; basic mechanical and electrical knowledge; ABYC certifications are a bonus Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs; must be able to grasp, stand, sit, walk, kneel, crawl, perform repetitive motions, bend, climb, and have visual acuity; must also be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to complete tasks About Copper River & The Native Village of Eyak
