R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at our Lumberton, NC Service Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet equipment, consisting of preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. This role includes maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, welding depending on location.
Shift: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 3rd shift 12: am to 10:30 am.
PTO: Earn 1 week of PTO after 90 days of employment, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes employee resorts.
Responsibilities
Preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
Handle major repairs
AC and Electrical repairs
Lift 50 lbs
Maintain own tools
Preferred
2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience
Experience with Cummins & Detroit engines
Experience using Cetaris for work orders
Class A CDL holder
Experience driving Class 8 commercial trucks
Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs
