Estimator
The Estimator will play a crucial role in accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and contributing to the overall success of our construction projects. The Estimator will collaborate with various teams to analyze project requirements, review specifications, and develop comprehensive cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects. Construction Mechanic
The Construction Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting heavy equipment, vehicles, and machinery used on construction projects. This role ensures all equipment is safe, reliable, and operating efficiently to support daily field operations. Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair construction equipment, trucks, and small engines. Perform routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, tire checks, fluid levels, filter replacement, etc.). Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Maintain detailed service and repair records. Respond to on-site equipment breakdowns and perform field repairs as needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and environmental regulations. Assist with ordering parts, supplies, and maintaining inventory. Work closely with operators and supervisors to identify equipment issues early. Keep shop and work areas clean, safe, and organized. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic (construction, diesel, or heavy equipment preferred). Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment. Welding and fabrication skills a plus. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in outdoor construction environments. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license as a condition of employment.
