Position Overview We are currently searching for DOT registered inspector mechanics with tank trailer repair experience!

Shift Hours, Location, Pay Shift Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime

This position is for our Salt Lake City branch at 1475 W. 2100 S.

Pay Range: $30.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Skills Required Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.

Tank service and repair

Trailer suspension installation and repair

Experience with air brake systems and repairs

TIG aluminum and stainless welding experience

Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole

Must be able to work in confined spaces
