Overview We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work with a team of 3-4 shop employees in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and vehicles at our fleet maintenance facilities in Largo. Candidates with previous experience with milling machines and shop leadership are highly valued.
Responsibilities
Routine maintenance and service of asphalt milling machines, paving equipment, trailers, service vehicles, tractors, mowers, and diesel trucks.
Repairs to equipment systems including hydraulic, electrical, water and air.
Repairs & maintenance to undercarriage on tracked equipment.
Fluid and filter services on all equipment & vehicles.
Work with provided tools and equipment.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Supply own tools.
Major repairs are performed at our facilities in Largo.
Some limited travel for maintenance & repairs to equipment on job sites.
Driver’s license required.
Minimum 40-hour work week plus overtime paid weekly.
