America’s Auto Auction is looking for a reliable and motivated Mechanic Helper to support our reconditioning and mechanical repair team. If you enjoy working with vehicles, staying busy, and learning hands‑on from experienced mechanics, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in the automotive industry.
What You’ll Do:
Assist mechanics with basic repairs, maintenance, and inspections on auction vehicles
Move vehicles to and from the shop and designated areas
Help with tire changes, fluid checks, battery replacements, and part installations
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Track tools, parts, and supplies as needed
Support the PSI/Arbitration or recon team with assigned tasks
What We’re Looking For:
Some mechanical aptitude or interest in automotive repair
Willingness to learn and take direction
Ability to lift, bend, and work on your feet
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude
