LHH is assisting a commercial real estate law firm to hire an experienced

Title Review Paralegal

to support a partner focused on real estate development and commercial transactions. This is an onsite role in downtown Fort Worth, TX for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys taking ownership of complex title and due diligence work.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience reviewing and analyzing commercial title commitments and surveys, coordinating closings, and managing due diligence for large-scale real estate transactions. Candidates with experience at a title company or in a commercial real estate finance setting are highly encouraged to apply.

Salary ranges from

$70,000 - $95,000 per year DOE

Unlimited PTO

(based on responsible use)

Eligible for a performance-based bonus

(based on billable hours – 1500-1600)

Initial Resume Review:

HR/Executive Assistant screens applications and selects top candidates.

In-Office Interview:

Meet with the supervising attorney and team.

Personality Assessment:

Conducted among employees to ensure cultural and team fit.

Qualifications

Minimum

3+ years of experience

in commercial real estate title review, transactional paralegal work, or escrow/title company operations.

Paralegal certification required

Strong understanding of title commitments, surveys, and closing procedures for commercial properties.

Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with

Microsoft Office Suite

and familiarity with document management systems.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and anticipate attorney needs.

Key Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and summarize title commitments, exceptions, surveys, and related documents for commercial real estate transactions.

Identify and flag potential title or survey issues, and communicate findings to the supervising attorney for resolution.

Coordinate due diligence materials and maintain closing checklists for transactions valued up to $150 million.

Prepare and organize closing documents, escrow instructions, and closing binders.

Manage entity formations and filings with the Secretary of State; perform conflict checks as needed.

Communicate regularly with title companies, lenders, and clients to ensure all requirements are met for a timely closing.

Track key transaction deadlines and coordinate with attorneys and staff to ensure all deliverables are met.

Maintain accurate electronic files, correspondence, and billing records.

Assist with other special projects related to commercial real estate transactions as needed.
