We are seeking a skilled
Real Estate Paralegal
to support a high-volume transactional practice. This role involves overseeing residential and commercial closings, coordinating due diligence, and ensuring files move smoothly from contract execution through final recording.
What You’ll Do
Manage a steady caseload of real estate transactions (approximately 30+ closings).
Initiate and track title searches, lien searches, surveys, estoppels, zoning requests, and related documentation.
Monitor important deadlines, request extensions when needed, and keep all parties informed throughout the process.
Prepare draft settlement statements, closing disclosures, and complete closing packages with accuracy.
Identify and help resolve title, survey, estoppel, and payoff issues in advance of closing.
Handle coordination of closing logistics, including cash-to-close figures, proceeds, funding, disbursements, and lender communications.
Record documents electronically and finalize issuance of title policies.
Draft, review, and organize key documents such as purchase agreements, deeds, affidavits, loan documents, and corporate authorizations.
Review title commitments, third-party reports, surveys, and leases; summarize findings for attorneys and clients.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a real estate law environment (law firm or title setting).
Strong working knowledge of Florida real estate practices, title standards, and closing procedures.
Ability to manage multiple transactions and maintain detailed status updates for each file.
Proficiency with real estate closing software (SoftPro a plus) and Microsoft Outlook.
Bachelor’s degree or formal paralegal education required.
