Position Full‑time Level II Eddy Current Technician for MISTRAS Group, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL.

Responsibilities
Set up and calibrate NDT equipment.
Conduct NDT tests using appropriate techniques (UT, RT, MT, PT).
Interpret, evaluate and document test results.
Be familiar with method scope, limitations, and codes, standards and contracts.
Work with minimal supervision and resolve problems promptly.
Analyze information skillfully and present numerical data effectively.
Minimum Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT‑TC1A for one or all of the following: UT, RT, MT, PT.
Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one year experience, or Level I technician with adequate field experience to certify to Level II per SNT‑TC1A standards on one or more of: UT, RT, MT, PT.
Industrial Radiographers Certification Card preferred (required for radiography positions).
Completion of a 40‑hour Radiation Safety Course preferred (required for radiography positions).
Competencies: problem solving, oral communication, written communication, interpersonal skills, planning/organization, adaptability, dependability, quality, safety.
Working Conditions
Outdoor field duties in a plant atmosphere.
Interaction with crew, supervisors and clients.
Exposure to extreme plant noise levels.
Physically fit to carry 50 lb frequently and to wear safety equipment.
May travel out of town periodically.
May work at more than one jobsite in a day and tolerate climate changes.
Essential Physical Functions
Frequently lift and carry 50 lb.
Clear speech and hearing for effective communication.
Vision or other powers of observation for investigations.
Manual dexterity for routine office duties.
Personal mobility to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment.
Access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
