Day Shift - Monday through Friday!!
Job Responsibilities
Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts.
Running diagnostic test on diesel engines and analyzing results for repair.
Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspension, steering, and exhausts.
Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown.
Performing preventative maintenance of SSI vehicles.
Vehicle wiring and reading wiring schematics.
Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge its performance.
Deliver, pick up, and repair vehicles from our satellite branches.
Qualifications
3 years diesel mechanic experience, preferred
Experience with diagnostic software with computer
Knowledge of diesel engine components
Insurable driving record
Must own full set of mechanic tools
Troubleshooting skills
Organizational and Multitasking skills
Proficiency with DPF, EGR and DEF, preferred
Pay Range: 30-36 USD per hour (Indianapolis, IN)
