Place Services, Inc., based in Canton, Georgia, urgently needs experienced
Supermarket Refrigeration Installers
in several regions including Nashville, Knoxville, Birmingham, Atlanta, Greenville SC and Charlotte. This high‑travel position is primarily night work with occasional dayshift.
The Refrigeration Installer will be responsible for installing supermarket customer walk‑in and reach‑in refrigeration systems.

What You’ll Do
Execute the installation of refrigeration systems in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and local building codes.
Build and install pipe hangers, fit and braze copper pipe to ensure proper installation of refrigerated cases in supermarkets.
Assemble, position, and mount refrigeration units, condensers, compressors, and other components.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards for refrigeration systems.
Follow proper disposal procedures for refrigerants and hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation logs, service reports, and equipment specifications.
Document equipment inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks for reference and future analysis.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress, issues encountered, and solutions implemented.
Interact professionally with supermarket management and staff to understand their refrigeration needs and address any concerns.
Provide courteous and responsive customer service, resolving inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
Who You Are
Experience as a Lead, Pipe Fitter, Case Setter or a Helper is desirable; apprentices are encouraged to apply.
Excellent attention to detail and a focus on quality output.
Team player who embodies a “we over me” mentality.
Effective communicator with proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
Committed to continuous improvement and eager to learn and bring innovative ideas.
What You Bring
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record in accordance with the Fleet Policy.
Physically able to walk distances, bend and crouch, climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift or carry objects up to fifty pounds repetitively for an extended period.
Prompt and detailed communication skills.
Availability to work nights and/or Sundays.
Knowledge of basic and commercial refrigeration (Lead level).
EPA certification preferred but not required.
