Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician

Salary: $70,000.00 – $200,000.00
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the installation of HVAC equipment with precision and care to meet customer satisfaction.
Ensure customers’ homes are protected and work is done cleanly, safely, and efficiently.
Submit job‑related photos using Measure Quick for 100% quality control.
Collect all necessary signatures and outstanding balances, ensuring smooth project completion.
Educate customers on the proper operation of their new system.
Report key metrics after installation, including static pressure, refrigerant charge, and amperage draws.
Maintain a callback rate of less than 3%.
Achieve 100% accuracy in Measure Quick and invoice submissions.
Maintain a customer satisfaction score of 4.5 or higher.
Complete work within the allocated time while adhering to Goettl’s high standards of professionalism, punctuality, and appearance.
Produce picture‑perfect installations that meet municipal code requirements.

Requirements

Some experience with HVAC and furnace installation is a solid plus.
Must have EPA Certification (Level II or Universal) or the ability to obtain within 60 days.
Ability to lift more than 50 lbs. and bend, stoop, stand, and crawl for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and small spaces.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory two‑year driving record.
Must be over 19 years old.
Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
Must pass a background check.
Must be able to provide a basic set of your own tools.
Must have flexibility to work an irregular schedule, including nights and weekends.
