Responsibilities As a Full‑Time Structural Steel Fitter, you will: - Lay out, position, align, and fit fabricated parts according to blueprints and specifications. - Operate overhead cranes and use cutting and heating torches safely. - Perform complex heat corrections, check camber and sweep tolerances of beams and steel shapes, and make necessary corrections while adhering to codes and specifications. - Set up complex jigs or assemblies, identify and correct hazards, interpret complex documents, and perform daily cleaning and maintenance of your work area.

Qualifications

Superior level layout and math skills

Complete understanding of pre‑heat functions

Ability to set up and use a track torch

Must pass all tack tests for F.A.C.W. (Flux Core)

Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere and communicate effectively with co‑workers, clients, and supervisors

Compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures
