Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers. Perform preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with little or no supervision. Repair and troubleshoot components such as engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel system components. Keep work area clean and safe. Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics. Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training. Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications
3+ years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred. Specialized training and experience in major component diagnosis/troubleshooting; ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred. Proficient with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Valid driver’s license required. Strong problem‑solving, customer service, and communication skills. Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions and lift up to 100 lbs (45 kg). Full attendance and adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies. Benefits

Work in all weather conditions. Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally; push/pull truck tires exceeding 100 lbs.
