Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is hiring for a
Test and Evaluation Specialist
position which will provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG). Seeking a proficient test engineer to develop and execute quality‑check protocols for our products. The role involves analyzing product features, establishing test parameters, devising tailored quality checks, and documenting the final test processes for our quality technicians.
The successful candidate will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of engineering and product design, keen attention to detail, and innovative thinking, and will formulate straightforward quality‑check procedures to guarantee optimal product performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and review test plans, test procedures, and test reports; provide comments, recommendations, and evaluations; support all phases of testing from concept development through follow‑on T&E events.
Develop and coordinate test plans.
Provide independent verification and validation (IV&V) of cyber tools pursuant to operational assessments.
Develop appropriate test plans for insufficient tests.
Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of specific test and evaluation experience.
Solid knowledge/operation of MS Office software.
U.S. citizenship required.
Current Top Secret security clearance with a CI Polygraph required within 6 months.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
Training
DAU Level 1 Test and Evaluation OR DAU Level 1 SPRDE, OR DAU Level 1 Engineering (equivalent/alternative qualifications considered on a case‑by‑case basis).
Clearance Requirements
Top Secret Current/Active.
Eligibility for TS/SCI upgrade in the near future (all hires will maintain SCI; MAG will upgrade TS to TS/SCI if applicant qualifies).
Successfully pass a Counterintelligence polygraph examination in the future.
Investigation current within 6 years.
Personnel enrolled in CE will also be eligible.
Other Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Special Note: The position is contingent upon the candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position, including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.
