Who They Are
Our client is a manufacturer that has been supplying piping specialty products to the commercial fire safety, HVAC, and plumbing industry since the 1950s. They need an Inside Sales Engineer in Chicago to take over the accounts there. We are looking for a sharp salesperson early in their career to join the company with long-term growth potential.
What You'll Do
Coordinate among departments and external suppliers to meet project deadlines
Provide product training to distributors, designers, and engineers
Maintain a good relationship with distributors and vendors
Coordinate vendor deliveries to meet deadlines
Responsible for generating and updating prices
Attend all relevant trade shows
What You'll Need
Bachelor’s degree (in technical field preferred) or equivalent experience
Familiarity with commercial piping systems and their components preferred
Familiarity with engineering drawings preferred
Knowledge and understanding of NFPA 13 preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
