Job Title: Mechanical Engineer We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a strong experience in solid modeling and mechanical design. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in utilizing SolidWorks, performing stress analysis, and interpreting complex documents, blueprints, and work instructions. A high level of mechanical aptitude and a fundamental understanding of electrical systems are essential for this role. Provide engineering support for new product development projects in a lead role. + Interface with Product Group leaders, Project managers, and ECO liaisons to enhance existing products. + Provide direction to others in assigned project development activities. + Design solutions that meet specific needs outlined in Engineering Change requests. + Conduct engineering and Finite Element Analysis as required by the project scope. + Write test plans and quality documents. + Execute engineering analysis and adhere to high-level accepted engineering practices. Proficient in SolidWorks and solid modeling. + Strong drafting ability with knowledge of dimensional callouts, tolerances, and symbols. + Experience in stress analysis and mechanical design. + Ability to read and interpret complex documents, blueprints, and work instructions. + Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical systems. + Proficiency in advanced mathematical concepts and operations. + Skill in developing test fixtures and performing design element testing. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. + Experience with sheet metal, fabrication, and manufacturability. + Knowledge of drafting, GD&T, and change orders. + The role is primarily on-site in Jackson, with the possibility of hybrid work arrangements. Occasional travel to the Harford plant or customer sites may be required, though this is rare. The office environment is supportive and collaborative, offering opportunities for professional growth.
