Job Title: Drafter/DesignerJob Description
The Drafter/Designer will play a crucial role in supporting engineering and design projects, particularly in the power generation, industrial, or commercial sectors. This position requires a strong ability to read and interpret drawings and standards, utilizing skills in AutoCAD and Revit to solve complex problems and ensure compliance with relevant codes.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings and standards to analyze and solve problems.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for design and drafting tasks.
- Assist in engineering and design projects supporting power generation, industrial, or commercial sectors.
- Ensure engineering designs comply with customer policies, procedures, and regulatory codes.
- Prepare drawings, permits, and other documents, and maintain project records in computerized systems.
- Work a flexible schedule, including potential overtime, to meet engineering needs.
- Travel locally to client sites as needed.
Essential Skills
- 3-15 years of experience with AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong team commitment and motivation with a positive outlook.
- Interpersonal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field.
- Experience in MEP design for power, industrial, or commercial projects.
- Mechanical drafting experience.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work setup, requiring in-office presence on Mondays and Tuesdays, with field visits approximately twice a month. The office locations include Cranberry or Homestead. The role involves local travel for day trips to client sites, with a per diem allowance for field days.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cranberry, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
