Reports To Design Manager Job Purpose To collaborate with the client through the planning process, develop unique and innovative remodeling solutions, and prepare clear and accurate documentation for Production. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Meet with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and investment levels Present and sell Design and Construction Agreements Develop creative design concepts and detailed work scopes that align with client goals Document existing site conditions accurately Collaborate with Estimators, Engineers, Architects, Mosby Sales Consultants, and Project Managers to ensure project success Provide superior customer service and build long-term client relationships Participate in tradeshows, seminars, webinars, and other company events as requested Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education in Interior Design or Architecture 5+ years of experience in Residential Design preferred Minimum of 3 years working one on one with clients to determine their design needs, budget, material selections and executing sales contracts Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and CAD Programs (Chief Architect program is a plus) Excellent organization, communication and time management skills Strong attention to detail Ability to successfully manage several projects at a time Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner Prior working relationships with vendors and subcontractors Have & maintain clean, reliable transportation to use for client appointments around the St. Louis & Southern Illinois area Ability to work nights and weekends Physically able to stand for long periods of time & carry/move up to 50lbs.
