What You'll Be Doing
Safely handle, load, and detonate explosives for quarry operations Inspect blast areas and ensure compliance with safety regulations Calculate and prepare blast patterns for optimal material fragmentation Operate and maintain blasting equipment and related tools Collaborate with team members to coordinate blasting schedules What Are We Looking For
Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow strict safety protocols Strong understanding of blasting techniques and quarry operations Capability to read and interpret technical plans and measurements Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer
