CNC Programmer
Seeking a dependable 1st-shift Manual and/or CNC Machinist with at least 2 years of experience to independently program, set up, and operate lathes and/or mills, inspect parts to tight tolerances, and maintain high standards of productivity and quality. Machine shop and precision manufacturing company that specializes in producing precision-machined parts and tooling for a variety of industrial applications. CNC Programmer Details: Contract to Hire position $ 20.00 to $ 28.00 / hour First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 06:00am to 04:30pm) The CNC Programmer is responsible for programming, setup and efficient operation of lathe and or mills to produce customer's parts to required tolerances. Machines used: Mazak Machining Centers, Mazak Lathes, Proto-Trak Bed Mills CNC Programmer Qualifications: Operator is to have experience inspecting parts during operation to ensure tolerances are maintained to drawing specifications. Must have knowledge of tooling and fixtures for the efficient operation of the machines. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must have basic shop math skills. Micrometers and other basic tools required. Minimum 2 years' experience. A continuous and proactive approach taken to productivity and quality. Must be dependable.
