Tumwater Branch, 5735 Littlerock Rd SW, Tumwater, WA 98512 Pay Range:
The target hourly pay range for this position is $21.37 - $26.71. The full hourly pay range is $21.37 - $32.05 - We provide an additional $2.00 per hour bilingual differential for those employees who can support our members' financial needs effectively in a second language; subject to verification of strong grasp of financial terms utilizing language skillset. Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer of employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role. Job Overview:
This position delivers exceptional member service by meeting members' needs through our sales and service culture. Actively recommends products and services to help members build valued financial relationships. Performs a variety of tasks, including processing transactions, resolving member concerns, and following proper procedures to minimize errors, reduce fraud, and promote the credit union philosophy of "people helping people" and objectives. May assist with staffing coverage at various branch locations and departments to support operational needs and ensure continuity of service. What You'll Do: Approaches, welcomes, and engages all visitors who come into the branch. Manages the traffic flow of members with a sense of urgency to provide minimal wait times. Identifies, refers or originates all products and services offered by the credit union. Manages branch services and product delivery autonomously for members, showcasing adeptness and expertise without the need for external assistance within the branch setting. Exhibits expertise, proficiency, and adeptness in providing financial counseling services to members, demonstrating the skill and capability to offer tailored guidance and support in financial matters. Receives, processes, and posts member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments in an accurate and efficient manner. Maintains accurate records of all transactions. Processes cash orders with management oversight, completes wire transactions, and check 21. Balances cash drawer and daily transactions. Balances vault and cash dispensers when necessary. Assists management with certifications, key assignments, and balancing the vault. Completes all required training. Follows all security procedures and processes, including but not limited to, BSA regulations, including completing CTR and SAR reports when applicable. Records detailed notes to document member interactions, complex situations, complaints and transactions to minimize lapses in employee communication or member service.
