Activities Aide
The Oaks at Denville is seeking highly energetic Activities Aides to join our team! The Oaks at Denville is a Springpoint Senior Living Facility located in Denville, NJ. We are currently seeking a per diem Activities Aides to join our team. At Springpoint, our Activities Aide is responsible for providing therapeutic activity programs to the residents. Responsibilities include assisting in organizing, developing, and directing all therapeutic activities for groups or individuals to meet the needs of the residents. The Activities Aide will also assist the Director in planning, organizing, and implementing therapeutic activities. Supplies, lists of participants and schedules for each activity will be prepared by the Activities Aide. They will also escort residents to and from groups, conduct group activities, and keep a daily record of types and number of activities in which each resident participated. Attendance at all scheduled educational offerings pertaining to Patient Activities and Resident Care is required. Assistance with outings is also part of the role. Education and experience required include a high school diploma or equivalent and certification from the National Council for Activity Professionals or the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation is preferred. Two years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
