The purpose of this position is to process third party billings, forms, and other documents. Essential Functions: Reviews forms, third party billings, and other documents to detect errors. Explains billing procedures to the public, contacts the public and mails documents to obtain additional information. Processes medical billings and provides information regarding payment options. Reviews, codes, and updates account information. Collects fees and posts to accounts. Processes forms and issues receipts and documents. Calculates figures and totals and maintains records and files. Performs related work. Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or the equivalent. Two (2) years of accounting, bookkeeping, banking, or billing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Other Minimum Requirements: None. Physical Demands: Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations.
