Job Description

Assists management in evaluating all activities associated with delivering technology products so that they meet specific business needs and expectations

Analyzing requirements from customers and determining best use or solutions of the software

Interfaces with stakeholders to define and document requirements for custom-developed vendor software products, often in the form of user stories

Creates documentation including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature description PowerPoint decks, user guides, process flows, and flow charts

Assists with managing the product backlog, working with management and other appropriate sponsors to prioritize requirements, and clearly define deliverables

Works with management and stakeholders to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing

Responds and prioritizes business and project issues and escalates promptly and appropriately

Provide training on product functionality to customer stakeholders during the product implementation lifecycle

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Experience

BS degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent experience

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is a plus

Requires 7+ years of related experience

Familiarity with both waterfall and agile product deployment and software development methodologies

Computer/Technical

Proficient in Office 365 - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Demonstrate ability to learn and understand basic office software applications

Experience working with Agile development processes and the team collaboration tools Jira or TFS

Familiarity with MS Dynamics, Salesforce, and other business-related systems and tools is a plus

Familiarity with SQL (writing simple queries, looking at databases) is a plus

Other Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and follow up skills

Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work both individually and as a member of a team are necessary

Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision

Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Strong problem solving and analytical skills with keen ability to deal with detailed, and sometimes ambiguous, information

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal office environment

Extending viewing of computer screens

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Spends time at a computer workstation and desk.

Moves throughout department or other locations to access or exchange information.

May involve carrying loads up to 50 lbs. and being able to remain in a stationary position.

May involve lowering oneself to file, and reaching, twisting or turning.

Involves handling office materials, typing, writing and other tasks that require manual dexterity.

Continuous listening.

Ability to communicate information.
