SONIC Multi-Unit Leader Job Description

As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage the operations of all General Managers and employees within multiple SONIC drive-ins. Your responsibilities include training and supporting employees to ensure quality food is provided in a clean, safe, and efficient manner, delivering an enjoyable guest experience. Key duties include:
Managing, training, and coaching General Managers, including conducting management orientations.
Directing and assigning employees to meet operational standards.
Overseeing employees and management across multiple drive-ins during shifts, ensuring all food preparation, presentation, and service meet standards.
Ensuring compliance with employee handbook policies and practices.
Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly, reporting to supervisors.
Reviewing work schedules to ensure proper staffing and service levels.
Monitoring cost control procedures for food, labor, and inventory, taking corrective actions as needed.
Monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions when necessary.
Auditing employment and payroll records.
Reinforcing guest-first service philosophy.
Handling escalated guest requests and complaints respectfully.
Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members.
Approving employee and management compensation within guidelines.
Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales issues.
Developing and implementing regional marketing plans.
Additional Requirements include:
High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
Minimum three years of restaurant management experience, with multi-unit supervision experience required.
Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of recruiting, labor laws, and sanitation regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Basic accounting and computer skills.
Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
