CDL Class A Local Driver - Home Daily job at 3 Lions Logistics. Specifics The candidate most qualified for this position will be driving locally throughout MA, NH, ME, and CT (start time between 5:00-6:00am). We haul water, juice, perishables, and other general freight in dry vans and reefer trailers. Drivers will operate their own automatic Cascadia Freightliner each day and are expected to conduct daily pre/post-trips and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle. Class A CDL Driver Job Responsibilities:
Dependable - Time is money in the trucking industry and customers expect shipments at specific times and will not accept late pickups/deliveries.
No Passengers - Candidates will be driving the truck solo, no team driving, or passengers allowed.
No-Touch Freight - Drivers are only required to pick up and deliver the freight, no unloading is done by the driver.
Hours of Service - Drivers are required to follow all DOT-FMCSA HoS rules and regulations and keep track of their daily logs using our Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
Class A CDL Driver Requirements:
Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT Pre-Employment Drug Test.
Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum of 3 years of experience – no exceptions.
Ability to operate a reefer trailer.
Truck GPS.
Smartphone to use our ELD.
Job Type:
Full Time/1099 (No health, dental, or vision insurance).
Paid weekly - expect to earn $1,500+ a week.
Day shift.
