Position Summary The Production Coordinator plays a vital role in coordinating and supporting the production operations. They will collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth workflow, timely execution of production schedules, and adherence to quality standards. The Production Coordinator will assist in managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate production records.
What you’ll do Coordinate production activities, including scheduling, material procurement, and resource allocation, to ensure efficient and timely production processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, logistics, and quality control, to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the production cycle.
Monitor inventory levels, track material availability, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components for production.
Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, quality control documentation, and inventory records.
Assist in implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
About you 2 or 4 year degree or equivalent experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant certifications or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in a production coordination or similar role, preferably within the food distribution or manufacturing industry.
Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
