THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Product Manager with a focus on Subscription and GTM (Go-to-Market) to drive the strategy, execution, and lifecycle of subscription-based product features. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational rigor, and cross-functional leadership to ensure customer-centric outcomes, successful market adoption, and measurable business growth.
The ideal candidate is a strong operator with deep product and market knowledge, exceptional analytical skills, and proven ability to partner across Engineering, Marketing, and GTM teams. This role is both strategic and hands‑on—you will shape product direction, define metrics for success, and ensure adoption and growth while mentoring junior PMs and contributing to the broader product strategy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple subscription product features, from concept through delivery, adoption, and ongoing iteration.
Develop and manage pricing strategies that align with company objectives and market conditions.
Define, prioritize, and execute the technical product roadmap with a focus on subscription growth, retention, and customer experience.
Partner with leadership to align product strategy to business objectives and market opportunities.
Make critical trade-offs and data-informed decisions that balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and business priorities.
Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Field Enablement to drive effective product launches, messaging, and readiness.
Partner with Finance, Cx, Supply Chain and Sales Operations to drive campaigns/programs for cross-sell and up-sell programs.
Establish and track KPIs for adoption, retention, churn reduction, and revenue growth across subscription offerings.
Conduct market and customer segmentation analysis to identify new opportunities and refine go-to-market approaches.
Drive portfolio analysis and market intelligence to inform positioning and growth strategies.
Serve as the voice of the customer, deeply understanding their needs, pain points, and workflows.
Conduct and synthesize customer research, competitive analysis, and trend evaluation to inform product direction.
Translate customer insights into clear product requirements and GTM plans.
Act as the primary bridge between Engineering and Marketing, ensuring alignment on priorities, product positioning, and adoption strategies.
Build strong relationships across field teams, enabling product adoption and customer success.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align product features with customer and market needs.
Collaborate closely with product leaders to drive organizational alignment and execution against the broader strategy.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in Product Management, Subscription Strategy, or GTM Operations roles.
Experience providing requirements to CPQ/ Subscription/ Asset Management Systems.
Proven experience in pricing strategy, competitive analysis, or revenue management.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-platform product features through the full product lifecycle.
Proven track record of driving adoption, share growth, and measurable business results in subscription or SaaS models.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience defining KPIs and tracking success metrics.
Ability to influence across levels of the organization and communicate effectively with executives, engineers, marketers, and field teams.
Experience coaching or leading junior PMs a plus.
We are primarily an in‑office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

$181,000 - $272,000 USD
