Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our fast‑paced kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes according to our restaurant's standards while maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and presentation guidelines.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety and sanitation regulations to prevent foodborne illnesses.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
Adapt to changing menus, food requests, and special dietary needs.
Assist in training new kitchen staff when needed.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role in a busy restaurant.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen equipment.
Culinary school diploma or relevant experience preferred.
