As a Metal Panel Carpenter, you'll work with experienced tradespeople on a wide variety of commercial construction projects across Wisconsin. What You'll Do
As a Metal Panel Carpenter, you'll install and maintain metal wall cladding systems, including metal panels, flashings, furring channels, and insulation. You'll work from blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to lay out materials, measure and cut metal accurately, and ensure precise, high-quality installation. Your responsibilities will include fastening and securing components, inspecting finished work, weatherproofing exterior systems, and replacing damaged or defective materials when needed. You'll operate hand tools, power tools, and metal fabrication equipment, work from lifts or scaffolding as required, and coordinate with other trades to keep projects on schedule. Safety is a top priority, and you'll be expected to follow all jobsite procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. What You'll Need
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Ideally, you'll bring two to five years of commercial carpentry, façade installation, or related experience. You must be able to read blueprints, complete accurate measurements, perform basic construction math, and use metal cutting and fabrication tools with skill and precision. A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to drive company vehicles safely. This role requires physical stamina, including lifting 50+ pounds, working at heights, and performing hands‑on tasks in a construction environment.
