Lead Concrete Finisher (Heavy Highway Construction)
Costabile Construction is seeking a Concrete Finisher with experience in forming, pouring, and finishing concrete. Candidates with masonry/block experience and knowledge of carpentry and operating hand or power tools are preferred.
Key responsibilities:
Smooth and finish poured concrete surfaces such as floors, walkways, sidewalks, roads, and curbs using a variety of hand and power tools.
Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; cut expansion joints using saws.
Calculate and measure accurately; cut materials to proper size.
Read and interpret prints, plans, and specifications.
Essential qualifications:
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass ongoing drug testing and background checks.
Proficiency with hand and power tools and equipment.
Ability to calculate and measure accurately.
Experience in concrete finishing and optionally masonry or carpentry.
Employment details:
Full‑time, year‑round.
Hourly rate based upon experience.
Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays, paid personal days, and retirement plan. Health insurance, paid holidays, and supplemental insurance offered after 90 days of employment. Personal days are available after 1 year.
