Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. Responsibilities Model Marketing Cocktail Server are an élite, experienced group of professionals that have an acute attention to detail, can be flexible and adjust to their surroundings, and are able to have fun and seem carefree in a very fast‑paced environment. Moreover, they are responsible for presenting themselves as a positive reflection of the venue while marketing to potential customers at all times. Works in an efficient and professional manner and able to maintain the cleanliness of workstations and equipment. Participates in in‑house modeling programs, special events, Banquet service functions, and performs model/presenter tasks at events.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Model Marketing Cocktail Server is responsible for providing quality guest service while preparing and serving tableside beverages and, on occasion, food and amenities on a timely manner

Responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions at the Point of Sale system (POS)

Initiates and engages in conversation with all guests in a professional and friendly manner

Ability to pour drinks and mix well‑balanced cocktails and shots following standard recipes

Acts as an ambassador of the venue, markets the venue and all products offered to the targeted customer base

Collects customer information for the venue database, while constantly striving to increase the size of their personal clientele

Meets marketing requirements established by management, as per the Company's Marketing Requirement Plan

Prepares all products according to established venue recipes, focusing on proper portion size control

Exhibits and executes a complete knowledge of the venue’s sequence of service and selling technique

Provides each customer with a properly itemized bill and secure payment according to established venue procedures

Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs and assist other team members when the opportunity arises

Communicates with management, VIP hosts & service team to rectify any and all customer needs, comments or incidents

Ensures that assigned area, side station, tables and POS stations are clean and well stocked at all times

Communicates and works with all support team to ensure inventory is maintained at established par levels

Adheres to all established policies, procedures and guidelines

Maintain excellent customer service skills & high service standards in a constantly changing environment

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a high volume, service focused restaurant or nightclub

Previous cocktail serving experience in a high‑volume nightclub environment preferred

Must possess a valid alcohol awareness card and a health department card

Must be self‑motivated, constantly striving to improve skills and knowledge

Must be fluent in the English language, both written and oral, multilingual skills is a plus

Previous modeling experience preferred, but not required

Must have strong knowledge of spirits, wines, champagne and mixed cocktails

Must be able to mix well‑balanced cocktails and shots

Must be able to operate point of sales systems terminal

Social Media Requirements

Must meet social communication standards and requirements in promoting and marketing the venue

Must use personal social media accounts to market the venue

Must use the following social media platforms for work: Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram

Must develop personal clientele list

Participate and appear in marketing, publicity or media materials

Must market and promote venue specific events

Must adheres to all specified marketing requirements and guidelines

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must present a professional and pleasant appearance that guests will find appealing and approachable in order to engage in conversation

Requires the ability to work within a team environment

Must be able observant and quick to respond to various situations while multitasking

Cordial relations with co‑workers

Anticipate guest needs

Provide guests with information and directions

Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures

Maintain all Sequence of Service Standards to achieve 100% compliance and audit scores

Provide information to guests regarding our venues, menus and pricing

Recognize and identify regular guests and repeat business, using their name whenever possible

Maintain line of sight / atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift

Work Environment

May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise

Must be able to lift and carry a tray, weighing a minimum of 25 pounds in a busy, crowded and dimly lit environment

Must be able to stand or walk a minimum if eight (8) hour shifts and work inside assigned bar area in the venue

Must be able to stand; walk; use hands handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
