Opportunity Summary Castaway is looking for exceptional line cooks to join our culinary team. This is your chance to work with one of the country's top chefs and be part of a team that delivers amazing food, cocktails, and an incredible view of the valley. Castaway Burbank is the top eatery in Los Angeles and is committed to providing guests with a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
Pay: $18 - $23 / hour

Responsibilities
Work alongside the kitchen team to prepare and cook meals according to BEOs, established recipes, and standards.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, up to par with Health Department standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service.
Assist with inventory and ordering as needed.
Qualifications
1 year previous experience as a prep or line cook is required
Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Ability to execute high-volume, large-scale event orders
Positive attitude, team player, and able to work collaboratively with others
Must be able to work flexible hours, including most weekends and nights
