Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Drafter/Designer to join our team. As a Drafter/Designer, you will work closely with engineers and project managers to create detailed technical drawings for our tactical building designs. You will play a key role in turning conceptual designs into precise and executable plans that meet both client specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Sketchup, Fusion 360, Revit, & Inventor software for modular and tactical buildings.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate project concepts into technical designs.
Review and revise designs based on feedback from the project team and clients.
Ensure that designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Produce technical documentation and drawings for manufacturing and construction purposes.
Assist in preparing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Maintain accurate records of design changes and project progress.
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure design feasibility and cost efficiency.
Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for design improvements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Drafter/Designer, preferably in the construction or tactical building industry.
Proficiency in Sketchup, Fusion 360, Revit, Inventor and other drafting/design software.
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A degree or certification in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience with modular or tactical buildings is a plus.
