CAD Technician

Translate engineering/sales/customer requirements into preparation of concept layouts for quotation and/or proposal purposes.
Prepare assembly drawings and detail associated component parts/assemblies
Duties will require daily interfacing with Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering.
Review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
Input Bills of Materials into ERP system.
Utilizes and creates documents in the Conax Technologies Wiki.
Exemplify core values of integrity, commitment, innovative thinking, customer centric, and teamwork.
Prepare technical support documents to supplement drawing requirements

Qualifications
AAS Degree Technical
1 -3 years experience (electrical/mechanical) in a manufacturing environment
3 or more years of experience in SolidWorks (Proven proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software)
Experience in AutoCAD or DraftSight
SolidWorks PDM experience preferred
Above average computer skills, highly proficient in Excel and Office 365
