UNL Snack Bar Attendant - Pepsi

Hours: PT Monday - Friday (will work with your class schedule)
Position Summary The purpose of this role is the set-up, preparation, organization and service of food and beverage items. The Snack Bar Attendant will also monitor inventory levels by ordering supplies, stocking merchandise, and taking inventory of products.
As part of our application process, all candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Essential Job Functions
Set-up and organize the snack bar at the Academic Grind for daily operation
Greet customers, take orders, prepare and serve food and beverages to students, faculty and staff
Operate cash register and receive payments
Ensure proper food handling procedures including stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products
Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
Order and receive inventory and supplies as needed
Perform all opening and closing duties based on operational checklists
Perform other duties as necessary
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of computers and tablets
Effective oral and written communication skills
Skills in decision making
Skills in organizing and prioritizing work and tasks
Ability to provide attention to detail
Ability to work with others
Ability to multitask
Working Environment Work generally takes place in a snack bar environment with long periods of standing. Individuals must be able to operate a tablet.
