Summary:
The Portable Restroom Service Driver – Non‑CDL is responsible for safely operating a portable restroom service truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete restroom services for customers. In addition, the driver ensures the vehicle complies with company safety standards and all regulations, completing daily vehicle condition reports to ensure any defects are addressed promptly.
Responsibilities
Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
Report any safety issues on standard reports.
Safely operate the truck along designated routes and to disposal sites; read route sheet, follow map, and serve each customer as identified.
Operate manual/automatic controls to lift and load refuse, operate compactor, and dispose of collected material at the designated facility.
Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to meet timely and professional service standards.
Identify unsatisfactory containers and tag restrooms in accordance with departmental procedures.
Monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste and clean up accidental spills following safety standards.
Continuously monitor vehicle condition and clean waste from the truck body after each disposal trip.
Complete required route/productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports, and other reports as required.
Maintain adherence to productivity standards to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
Deliver good customer service, time‑management, follow‑through, and adherence to company policies and safety.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior experience driving Non‑CDL trucks preferred.
Excellent reading and writing skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to multi‑task and pay attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and pride in work.
Physical Demands
Light lifting (50–100 pounds) in a shop environment.
Work Environment
Warehouse / shop environment.
