Job Description Hammond Lumber Company is seeking a Full‑Time Merchandiser for our Auburn, Maine location. Responsibilities include maintaining and stocking a retail store, performing inventory cycle counts, supporting the sales force, performing housekeeping, placing orders with vendors, and lifting heavy items.
Maintains and stocks retail store as assigned
Performs inventory cycle counts and maintains adequate inventory levels
Provides support for sales force (e.g., mixing paint, picking stock orders)
Dusts shelves and performs basic housekeeping functions such as trash removal, sweeping, or vacuuming
Places orders with Emery Waterhouse and other vendors as needed
Position requires heavy lifting
