Summary Responsible for assisting Painter in painting parts after body repair work is complete according to Collision Center guidelines.
Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Painter as needed.
Apply paint to vehicle parts after repair work is complete.
Cover vehicle parts that do not require painting.
Buff or clean surfaces after paint dries.
Request necessary materials.
Assist with performing paint jobs efficiently and according to Collision Center guidelines.
Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
Participate in required training.
Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
Demonstrate the Company’s Core Values.
Comply with Company policies and procedures.
Observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
Other duties as assigned.

Attendance Expectations The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands Must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed. Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
Environment Demands Duties are performed primarily in the body repair shop. Work may expose the employee to loud noise, vibration, paint-dust, paint fumes, and other shop conditions.
Verbal and Writing Ability Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Math Ability Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense and technical manuals.
