Join Hallmark as a part‑time Field Merchandiser! In this dynamic role you’ll collaborate on new store installations, remodels, and seasonal resets—removing product, assembling fixtures, and creating eye‑catching displays. You’ll also work independently to maintain inventory and optimize product placement in assigned stores. This position requires strong organization, time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Physical tasks such as lifting and assembling fixtures are part of the job. Schedules are provided in advance, and occasional travel will be required. Be the face of Hallmark and help bring our products to life in retail spaces!
Salary and Schedule Details
Your starting pay will be $15.00–$15.10, depending on your skills and experience.
Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
Average weekly hours are between 5–11 hours per week.
Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products in retail stores using a mobile device. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.
Holiday support: during peak holiday seasons (Valentine’s, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) you may work additional days and extended hours, including on actual holidays and weekends.
Department resets: assist with installations and various tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. You may be notified up to two weeks in advance; assignments can involve evenings or weekends.
Team collaboration: as part of Hallmark’s field organization, support other team members as needed within your territory.
Physical Requirements Physical skills required include consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds. You must be able to kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use step ladders throughout the workday.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Capability to lift 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Operation of a digital hand‑held device for reading documents.
Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores on schedule.
